I like the building better and the shadows on the roof. By the way, bright cheeriness (which I don't agree is what the new one is all about) is not a bad thing.i have three headshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14934477206533168234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1032762180478172805.post-60912705618716941972010-04-27T11:19:01.450-07:002010-04-27T11:19:01.450-07:00The old painting was one of my favorites that you&...The old painting was one of my favorites that you've ever done. The photograph of it isn't the best but I remember it having such a warm feeling. So much honey amber to it and soft greens. It was rather moody.

That being said, I like this new one too but it's completely different. The composition, the mood of it and the style. I do like the new style more and I think I like the composition of it too, although I miss the people in it as that's one of the things I liked about the older one. I like the mood in the older one better though, more drama more darks (but comfortable darks) and while this new one has a bright cheeriness to it, I think I just prefer the older mood.

Maybe you could make a third one with the new composition, new style and old mood?KarleighJaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11566692488737851650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1032762180478172805.post-65778333886765999262010-04-26T07:41:34.839-07:002010-04-26T07:41:34.839-07:00New or old? But looking at the little photos I think I like the older one better - it has an "other century" look to it that I like a lot. But again, without looking at the originals, it's really too hard to tell. The Real Jim Heywoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14379025994939752250noreply@blogger.com
